Lara Shepherd is one of the directors at Orchard House and has been involved with the financial services industry since 1988.
She gained valuable knowledge and experience working for HSBC, Guardian Royal Exchange and Invesco Perpetual.
In 1996 Lara took a career break to start a family and support Mike Shepherd in building his business at Orchard House.
Lara was instrumental in preparing Orchard House for direct authorisation with the FSA in 2005. Since then, she has become a director of the company and keeps Orchard House up to date with the latest compliance regulations and reporting. Lara provides an essential service to Orchard House in supporting adviser’s compliance reporting and ensuring our advisers remain current in their training and knowledge.
Away from Orchard House, Lara is a keen amateur gardener, likes to keep fit and supports Mike and the children in their many extracurricular activities. She is also the treasurer of Medmenham Runners Club, which raises funds for local charities.
