Financial Planning
Broadly speaking, financial planning is the process of making provision to aim to ensure your financial security as you reach various stages in life and to aim to help you achieve your dreams and aspirations along the way.
The main events for which advanced preparation is usually required include; buying your first home, getting married, having a family, moving home, funding private or further education for your children, retirement and Inheritance Tax planning.
Within each of these stages there are often other considerations to take into account - what happens if you or a member of your family were to become ill, die or if you were to lose your job? How could you arrange your finances in a way that will be most tax efficient for you? How much risk should you take with money that you are saving?
A financial planner will take into account many factors when giving you advice. Each person's current situation and goals for the future will be different. Consequently, the advice that is right for one person will not necessarily suit another.
At Orchard House (IFAs) Ltd we will begin by discussing with you in detail your current situation then moving on to find out about any expectations you have for the years to come. We will then aim to make recommendations on specific areas in the context of your overall circumstances. We will help you to prioritise your areas of need to ensure those which are most important to you are addressed first. We will help you to review your plans upon request to ensure you continue to head in the right direction.
Of course you may already know exactly where you are heading and simply require our assistance with just one particular area. Orchard House (IFAs) Ltd provides a bespoke service to each of its clients, which means you will receive as much or as little advice as you require.
